| After
the vines’ dormant period in the winter, the spring will bring bud-burst
in April and flowering in May. The berries will be fully set by June. Summer
temperatures will reach around 29-35ēC during the day, and some 15-17ēC
at night. Our vines are kept under close scrutiny, which will become even
more intense in September, when each variety is carefully analysed to find
its optimum level of ripening and to decide the exact day for its picking.
Although over ripened on purpose, Moscatel will be the first to arrive at
our cellars around mid September. Merlot and Tempranillo will come a few
days later, then the Garnacha. Graciano and Cabernet will close the harvest. |
