Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Making Tempranillo is a noble and exceptional grape, able itself to provide excellent wines. Our tempranillo grapes macerate for 16 to 20 days at a controlled temperature of 24 Cº. It remains for 12 months in American oak barrels, where the wine acquires its fineness typical of the ageing, and it rounds up in bottle, where the natural and progressive evolution continues. |
Tasting Deep ruby red with cherry-red hues. Red fruits and liquorice aromas with a touch of cinnamon, typical of the oak coming from the ageing. On the palate is rounded, ripe fruit and soft tannins.
Best served at: 16 -18ºC.
Gastronomy: Grilled meat, stew, cured cheeses.
Presentation bottles of 75 cl. and 50 cl.
Features Soil: calcareous clay limestone.

Vintage 2007 - The whole cycle was marked by the short number of sprouts flowering in our
vineyards. This came as a result of the really low temperatures of spring and early
summer, and has translated into a low yielding harvest, very rich in concentration.
We also enjoyed an atypical autumn which brought all the sunlight and heat
lacked during the summer, with chilled nights that provided a fabulous phenolic
maturation. Vintage 2007 was long and pleasant in our winery. We can highlight
the great, intense aromas of the Tempranillo grapes, which shows with a fantastic
complexity on this Crianza after 12 months ageing.
