Ochoa Viura & Chardonnay 09-Best unoaked white of Navarra

In Bodegas Ochoa, we want to celebrate with all of you the award our white wine Ochoa Viura & Chardonnay 2009 has won in the "XIX Concurso de Calidad de Vinos de Navarra" organised by "Cofradía del Vino de Navarra".  The wine has been awarded in the category "unoaked white wine", competing with other wines from the mentioned region.  This white wine is a dry, crisp and fresh white wine made from grapes from our Vineyard El Bosque in Traibuenas. It has a clean straw-yellow colour; on the nose and palate, primary aromas predominate with intense floral notes. The grape varieties in this wine are: Viura (70%), Chardonnay (23%) and Moscatel de grano menudo (7%). We recommend to serve this wine chilled. The presentation of the wines awarded will take place on friday 23rd of april at 8.15pm.
